WEARSHERLOCK: A blog that revolves around the wardrobe and props department of the BBC show 'Sherlock', featuring Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman and Mark Gatiss.
This blog showcases the clothes and props seen in the show as well as providing links as to where to buy them. We often host Sherlock related giveaways. You can check our current giveaway status here. We are not affiliated with the BBC.

Haha! We have quite a few requests for places where a John can be purchased (and we once had a very descriptive request for a Lestrade) but this is the first time we’ve been asked to locate a Molly.
Can anyone help? :P
It’s a now out of season jumper by Albam clothing.
We’ve been meaning to post about it but finding photos of it is tricky because it was only available in their London store and not online. We’ve contacted Albam (who are lovely) and they’ve not been able to provide us with photographs but assure us they get asked about the jumper a LOT so perhaps there will be some available in the future!
Close! They’re silver teapots.
We’re not sure of their significance but they must be loved seeing as they’re displayed so nicely in 221b. Perhaps they were a gift from Mycroft!
Sherlock’s suits are all by Spencer Hart.
Benedict is also a frequent customer of theirs!
We’ve had odder!
They’re “Lenser” torches and you can buy them here at Amazon :)
Irene’s green negligée is a vintage gown by Janet Reger. It appears to have been stitched together loosely at the front as you can see the split/opening when Miss Adler pushes the doors of her walk-in wardrobe open. It would be pretty much impossible for us to find a photograph of it now though seeing as it’s vintage (and believe us, we’ve spent a long time looking for one!)
The black jacket she is wearing in that scene is by Alexander Wang and we’ll be posting it tomorrow :) Hope that helps!
According to Sarah Arthur it’s a vintage fur wrap from her own collection. Sorry we can’t be of more help!
Hello :)
It’s most likely (unfortunately) that the coat has sold out at most online retailers now as it is out of season. The link we provided did work but it becomes extremely difficult for us to chase down new links for all our old posts once they go out of stock, I hope you can understand.
We’d recommend checking eBay regularly or using the selling forums at styleforum as it’s quite likely the coat will pop up there at some point. Sorry we can’t be of more help!
Hello :)
Well going by the detailing on the handle it could be a Swank clip, but then most of their sword clips aren’t full length like Mycroft’s.
This is the best screenshot we have of it at the moment and it appears to have some kind of detailing on the blade itself (unless that’s the lighting, or just plain pixelation!).
If anyone has the Blu-Ray of Series 2 to hand and would like to screenshot Mycroft’s tie clip for us we’ll have a better starting point for tracking this beauty down!
He has an IM Corona.
We’ll post it for you in the next few days :)
Sherlock’s Series 2 scarf is by Hugo Boss (A/W 2010) but like his Series 1 scarf trying to find photographs of it is proving extremely difficult! As soon as we can find a suitable image we’ll post it up for you :)
If anyone happens to own this scarf and wouldn’t mind photographing it against some kind of plain background it would be a great help!
Hello and thank you very much!
We’ll post her dressing table and the dressing table mirror for you tomorrow :)
Here if you’re from the US (or around there) or here if you’re from Europe (or around those parts). It’s the same hat but the closer you are to their warehouse the less the shipping will cost you :)
Hope that helps!
